A dance studio by the legendary Floor Lords Crew, an original breakdance crew from Boston, since 1981.
Created to inspire, grow & influence, through dance & other forms of expression. This studio will focus on training, workshops, events, personal dance classes, the arts & more.
Donations may be used to help with payment of instructors, free or low cost classes for some children who may not be able to afford classes, studio management, & community events.
Floor Lords Studio is currently offering Hip Hop, Breakin',
& Krump classes for the Fall.
Alex Diaz "Bboy El Nino"

Elite Athlete Representative,Breaking Division of USA Dance, Inc.
A world champion Bboy with 20+ years of experience teaching, competing, and judging competitions worldwide. Alex has appeared in many films, most recently "In The Heights". He has also performed and toured with various artists such as Missy Elliott and Run DMC.
Alex is the winner of over 100 breakin' competitions worldwide. He is currently serving as an Elite Athlete Representative with USA Dance, Inc. where he will use his expertise to help develop the future of Olympians en route to 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟰 𝗢𝗹𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗶𝗰𝘀, where Breakin' will now be a part of.
Most recently, Alex was recognized by the Mayor of Boston with a Proclamation declaring August 6th as "Bboy El Nino Day" , this was for his continued dedication and positive outreach to the youth in the City of Boston. The Floor Lords Crew was also acknowledged with "Floor Lords Day" on their 40th anniversary of impactful work in Boston and worldwide.
Bboy El Nino is now focused on continuing his work within his own studio and plans on expanding throughout the state soon!
Ramiro Vaughan (Purpose)
Founder of Be Urself Youth
Choreographer, Urban Nutcracker
Ramiro began as a street wise dancer who pursued an extensive amount of training to now become a professional in many diverse styles of dance, such as hip-hop, Afro Jazz, and Contemporary.
Ramiro has choreographed for Night Shift Entertainment, Wilmington Competition Teams, Urban Nutcracker and many other performances/videos. He trained at Boston Ballet and Chu- Ling Academy, as well as trained with various well known choreographers around the world.
Purpose is currently working with many incredible companies like Urbanity being the Lead Hip Hop Teacher, City Lights, Wilmington Dance Academy Lead Hip Hop, Floor Lords Studio and within the Boston Public Schools.
He has been working towards opening his own Youth Program called “Be Urself Youth”. His mission is to inspire young dancers to be their most authentic selves through the art of physical expression!
Russell Ferguson (Gutta)
Winner of So You Think You Can Dance, S6
Russell is a professional dancer with expertise in some ballet, broadway, and contemporary. Russell's first exposure was at Boston City Lights. He was a participant in the "Urban Nutcracker" and was featured as a tap dancer, although he never took tap lessons, but had the ability to teach himself!
Gutta is best known for being the Season 6 winner of the TV reality dance competition, "So You Think You Can Dance".
He also attended Boston Arts Academy, a performing arts High School where he was exposed to some ballet, broadway, and contemporary. He then attended the University of the Arts in Philadelphia.
Gutta is the founder of Side Street Dancers, a Boston Dance company focusing on Krump, Hip-Hop, Contemporary and Street. The program is dedicated to opening doors for anyone that has a passion for the arts and needs structure & encouragement through hardworking and discipline.
Studio Space Rental
The studio is available for rent. It can be used to teach a class, workshop, hold an event, or even photo shoots and private parties.Our studio is available for both long and short term rentals as well as one-time. Rates are determined by usage and time of day.
